Bring Landscape Technology Into the Classroom

Technology has become a central part of how landscape companies operate. From estimating and customer management to production planning and job costing, modern landscape businesses rely on software systems to manage projects and make informed decisions.

Through the Technology in the Classroom initiative, Mours Enterprises offers colleges and horticulture programs a free guest lab session that introduces students to how these systems are used in real landscape operations.

During the session, a Mours representative walks students through how a landscape project moves from opportunity to estimate to production. Students see how companies structure estimates, manage project information, and use technology to improve efficiency and profitability.

The goal is simple: help students better understand how landscape companies actually operate before they enter the workforce.

These sessions are designed to complement existing coursework and give students exposure to the operational side of the landscape industry.
